Welcome to Fish River Lodge and Camps!

John and Mary Lu Medina, Owners, and Maine Guide Wayne Bennett, your Host, hope you have a safe and enjoyable stay here. Come down to the lodge to be welcomed, or if we are not on site, to confirm your cabin number which is posted by the door. Your cabin key is on your cabin’s kitchen table. Please leave it there upon departure. Cabin checkout time is 10:00 AM.

COVID-19

-We want all guests to feel safe and confident while visiting Fish River Lodge. Precautions and preventative measures are in line with current CDC recommendations in order to ensure a clean and healthy environment. Parking:

-There is a space near your cabin for one vehicle.

-Other vehicles/trailers may park in the parking area at the top of the hill.

-Please do not block the dumpster, barn entrance, or waterfront.

Cabin info:

-You are provided clean towels and bedding. Should you require more towels or clean sheets at any time, more can be provided. Simply bring your used towels or sheets to the lodge and you will be given fresh ones.

-Quiet hours at 9 pm.

-Cabins are smoke free, so please smoke outdoors.

-Check-out time is 10 am.

Pets:

-Fish River Lodge is Pet Friendly! We ask that you observe the following in order to make a relaxing and enjoyable stay for our guests with and without pets.

-There is a fee of $10.00 per pet per night, limit of 2 per cabin.

-Your pets are not to be left unattended in the cabins.

-Exception: If your dog is a quiet dog and and well adapted to its own kennel, you can leave your pet unattended. However, you must leave your cell phone number during your check-in just in case during your absence your dog begins barking you can be contacted immediately to come tend to him/her.

-Please keep your pet on a leash or under voice control at all times.

-You are expected to clean up after your pet both inside and outside the cabins.

-Please do not allow your pets on the bedding or furniture. Provide your own pet beds or blankets and towels for your pet.

-A kennel is available under the lodge porch.

Lodge info:

-Wayne is available at the lodge, or by phone at 207-551-6558

-The lodge is open for you 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Feel free to visit the common room tables area, and porch. There are books and games to borrow.

-The kitchen, laundry, and office are private.

-Free Wifi and Wifi calling. Please ask for the password. There is also cell service towards town.

-There is a land line for emergencies. Calls can be received for you and our phone number is 207-444-9078

-Any necessary COVID-19 preventative measures and precautions will be posted.

-Speak to Wayne if you wish to utilize the space for a large group activity

-Quiet hour is at 9:00 pm

Visitor Policy:

-Visitors of registered guests are welcome 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

-All visitors please leave vehicles in upper parking lot.

-Cabin occupation may not exceed the maximum number defined, and there is no tenting on the property.

Canoe and Boat Rentals:

-See Wayne for arrangements for boat rentals for half or full days

-There is a 14 ft. aluminum boat with a 15 horsepower motor available.

Campfires:

-Fires are allowed in the beach fire ring and in provided fire pits.

-Wood is available for purchase, and there is kindling on the the ground in the woods and washed up along the lakefront

-Please burn responsibly and leave no fire unattended.

Beach Use:

-The beach area is shared by all guests, so please be considerate.

-Swimming is at your own risk. Children should have an adult spotter.

-A campfire in the evening is a wonderful way to get acquainted. * Quiet hour is at 9:00 pm.
